Gordy died in 1968. When I got pregnant and had to quit work he took over my job at Garwood Ind in Ypsilanti. My son was born in August. Gordy died of meningitus and I went in to work till they could find someone to replace him. Gregory was about 7 months old so that would be early 1968. Never knew Gordy well but such a young age to die.
Gordy died in September of 1968, 2 years after his dad died. As I remember it, he died of a brain aneurysm. He went to the hospital and was told he had the flu and sent him home. He died 3 days later. Gordy had many friends. I still miss him!

Yes donna it was to young to go. Ron smith died but can't remember what it was .that happened right close i think it was to gordy

Now that you mention it jim, Ron smith i believe, died of a brain, problem also. I always liked Ron.Never knew gordy well. bob s
