While Mike and I were friends in high school, it wasn't until college and for the rest of his life we were close. During college, we would skip class and ride our motorcycles out to Silver Lake. This set a pattern for the next 50 plus years. We would get together a few times a year and go motorcycling with either our dirt or road bikes. Mike always had extra bikes, so when I would visit him in Ludington or Florida, he would be happy to share his rides. He was a real character and will be greatly missed!
