My prayers go out to his family. I remember James as a very friendly and nice person. I was so sorry to hear about James passing. May he rest in peace. Sincerely, Linda ( Garner ) Patton
I also remember James as a really good guy. At the reunion in 2012, we had a great time remembering all the fun we had in ninth and tenth grade riding our Cushman Eagles all over with Donny Baggett, Arden Dusz, Bob Scharpe, and Jerry Marken. James had a beautiful Harley at the Tri-County dinner and seemed to enjoy riding as much as ever---good for him!
JAMES has beeen a good friend since we were 13-14 in there abouts. There was A time lapse where we didn't see each other..'Raising kids and dogs, buying homes, playing little league with my sons .and Then all that slows down to a crawl and stops.. We got back together again, I asked him to join the" Ypsi area street rods"-him and pat.
He meant more to me than most ,.because we had So many good times with those Cushman Eagles. He had been coming out to see me a few summers ago ,on his brand new h/d. He enjoyed those rides between saline and britton mi.. I will think of him often, What you see is what you got with james. And as they say," it is what it was" with james.See you down the rd i hope Jim~~~ bob scharp
