Tim broke his neck in a diving accident two weeks before his More…19th birthday. He was left a quadrapelegic. He stayed in that chair, depending on others for 11 years. He took his own life in March 2001.

Been a motorcycle parts man, Don's Motorcycle Sales, Ypsilanti, auto bodyman, Cox Motor Sales, Wayne MI bondoed those 1955 Chevy's & took them to the auctions, motorcycle mechanic for Nicholson Motorcycle Sales, & Honda of Ann Arbor, factory worker, (FOMOCO) Ypsilanti Plant, USNR, VF-13, worked on F8 Crusaders on the flight deck of The USS Shangri-La CVA-38, collected Vincent & Triumph Motorcycles, sold them all before they became valuable, auto & truck mechanic, Vincent Chevrolet, Ypsilanti & Suburban Imports VW, Ann Arbor, 12 years a test technician/procurement specialist, for Ford Engineering, Dearborn MI, 2 years college at Washtenaw Community College, an auto shop teacher at Saline High, a portable welding business, I could fix your aluminium boat at your house, or in the water, a farmer in Onsted MI for 7 years, kids were in 4H showing cattle, farmed 60 acres, raised freezer beef, lost the fingers from my right hand in a farm machinery accident, now have two toes from my right foot on my right hand, started an auto parts, and welding business in Brooklyn MI from scratch, ran it for 18 years, RG Scharf & Sons, Inc. Welding, Automotive and Firearms, sold firearms for 5 years, Lake's Auto Parts, Auto Value Parts Store, auto salvage yard, had a used car dealers license for 20 years, sold cars, parts, new and used, on the road, race car parts sales, RGS Motorsports Inc. ARCA & Iceman Series, two sales trucks on the road, sold at 80 races a year, all east of the Mississippi, partnered with Glenn Brewer of Columbus GA in and ARCA Race Team, crewed on James Hilton's NASCAR Team, raced motorcycles, drag racing, road racing, & Bonneville Salt Flats, raced stock cars, ARCA, promoted stock car races, Toledo Speedway & Sandusky Speedway, raced sailboats, sold and repaired sailboats, had a second hand store in Brooklyn MI, Trader-Bobs, Licensed Auctioneer in the State of Indiana, work for Ken Frecker Auctioneers as an auctioneer at The Historic Hillsdale Auction, Hillsdale MI, since 2003, and in New Haven IN, and Shinabery Auctioneers, Fort Wayne IN, remodel houses and commercial builbings, plumber, electrician, drywaller, carpenter, have rental property, dispatch & drive Semi trucks. Love to travel, drove Route 66 to California, with Paul Lane, August 1961, had to come back to finish high school, been to 33 states and 16 different countries. All over the Mediteranean in the Navy, as a civilian, Russia twice, Germany, France, Belgium, And England, on our honeymoon. Most recent, Ireland doing ancestral research in June 2011. Next trip possibly Iceland, Scotland, maybe back to Ireland.

Love to sail, repair and resell sailboats.

Hobby, foreign languages, I speak Russian, Spanish (mostly numbers, so I can auction in Spanish), Irish Garlic, and some German.

My wife Rosalie and I Square Dance as much as possible.

Geneology, been doing it for 10 years, interesting to see where we came from. Descendant of German inventor, English farmers, Irish farmers, Dutch Sea Captains & Pirates, and Muslim Moors.
